Lobster Recipes

There are many ways to serve lobster besides steaming or boiling them and serving them with butter.  Lobster can be served as an entree or used in appetizers, soups, chowders and bisques, stuffing for other foods, and with many other interesting seafood dishes.




Lobster Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup shredded lobster meat
  • 20oz  white mushroom (medium to large capped)
  • 2 cup dried breadcrumbs
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 2 tbsp chopped white onion
  • 2 tbsp chopped celery
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 20oz  white mushroom (medium to large capped)

Melt butter in medium heat saute pan.  Add in garlic, onion and celery.  Increase heat to saute vegetables until onion is transparent.  Reduce heat to low.  Add in salt, pepper and slowly add breadcrumbs, pressing mixture until breadcrumbs soften and hold together.  Fold in lobster meat.  Place mushroom caps on sheet pan and fill each with heaping tablespoon of stuffing.  Dust with paprika.  Cook in 325º oven for 12-15 minutes until stuffing forms golden crust.  Serve while hot.  Yields: 20-30 lobster stuffed mushrooms.
